Our Services

We offer a number of service options for your bike and also carry out repairs from fixing a specific issue to completely rebuilding a bike. 

Much of our work is carrying out specific repairs on customers bikes.  We assess the problems and provide an estimate of the costs to repair including any parts required prior to starting work

Service costs below exclude the cost of replacement parts except where specified parts are included in the service items.  Once a bike has been assessed, if any parts need to be replaced, we will discuss with you and agree costs before proceeding.  

We are unable to give estimates until we have assesed the bike.

We can only assess and work on clean bikes.  If a bike is dirty, then we will clean it before working on it.  For a repair, or where the cleaning cost is not included in the service package a £10 charge will be made.

Build and set up a new bike delivered in a "box" ensuring brakes and gears are set up correctly and all components are correctly fitted

Brake Check: 
Brakes checked and adjusted.  Inner brake cables replaced if required.  Excludes cost of replacement pads ( if required).  Internally routed cables  and hydraulic brakes P.O.A

Gear Check: 
Gears Checked and indexed.  Inner gear cables replaced if required.  Internally routed cables and Electronic group sets P.O.A

Tyre Check: 
Tyres checked, valves cleaned and inflated

Seat Post: 
Seat post removed, cleaned and refitted

Drive Train Degrease:
Remove chain, cassette and derailleur and degrease
Additonal £15

Cost excludes replacement parts which will be quoted seperately

Tyre Check: 
Tyres checke, valves cleaned and inflated

Bottom Bracket:
Cranks and pedals removed, bearings checked, serviced and reinstalled

Headset:
 Stripped, serviced, cleaned and reassembled

Seat Post: 
Seat post removed, cleaned and refitted

Drive Train degrease:
Remove chain, cassette and derailleur and degrease

Cost excludes replacement parts which will be quoted seperately

Gear Service:

Mech hanger aligned. Gears indexed

Wheel Check:
Spokes tensioned and wheels trued

Wheel Service:
Hubs stripped and bearings replaced if required ( Cartridge bearings - parts extra)

Headset Service:
Stripped and bearings replaced if required  (Cartridge bearings, parts extra)

Bottom Bracket Service:
Stripped and cleaned.  Botton Bracket/ Bearings replaced (parts extra)

Tyre Check: 
Tyres checked, valves cleaned and inflated

Seat Post: 
Seat post removed, cleaned and refitted

Drive Train degrease:
Remove chain, cassette and derailleur and degrease
